SPANISH FIESTAS: TRADITIONAL & TODAY
Flight by private plane to Seville to experience magical moments during the Seville Fair.
Parties are possibly the thing that Spain is most famous for. Some are specific to a region and others are celebrated nationwide, but either way we have an unrivalled range of fiestas across the country. They are rooted in tradition but upheld by all in modern Spain. The list is too long to recount here but perhaps we can mention a few. One of the most famous is La Tomatina, a celebration on the last Wednesday of August in Valencia, where people throw tomatoes at each other! It started at a street festival in 1945 when the boisterous crowd knocked over a market stall of fruits and then decided to start pelting them at each another. The famous food fight has been relived every year since!
In Seville there is the April fair, celebrated after Holy Week at the Real de la Feria, when the town lives for music, gastronomy and dancing! There’s also Las Fallas, San Fermin, and of course Sant Juan, the summer solstice bonanza of fireworks, bonfires, food and wine. Whenever and wherever you are in Spain, we will get you to the best fiestas on offer.
